Nordes Gıda does not directly or indirectly hire or employ young children under the age of 15, with the exception of the minimum age to complete the compulsory education process determined by the law and the exceptions defined by the ILO.
In the event that child labor is detected in the field, Nordes Gıda agrees and undertakes that the management responsibilities and the parents of the child will discuss the completion of the child’s education and that the child’s education support will be met.
If the education is completed and the age and health of the child is appropriate and there is a suitable position within the company departments, the child is employed as an employee.
Nordes Gıda supports young workers. In the event that young workers are hired, the company accepts and undertakes that the work is not of a nature that will affect the health or development of young workers; working hours will not affect their school attendance, their participation in vocational adaptation processes approved by the competent authorities or their capacity to benefit from training programs.
